New Devices Announced by Apple Inc.


  Apple at a special event held earlier today announced some couple of its new gadgets expected to be launched later this week.  The devices includes

  • Apple Watch Series 3
  • Apple TV 4k
  • IPhone 8 and 8plus
  • IPhone X

Apple watch series 3
  The  Apple Watch (series) 3 has a mobile connection so it can send and receive messages, browse the internet nd play songs from Apple Music without the need to be connected to an iPhone. It also has the Siri feature coupled with a 50 per cent better battery life.
  The watch is the same size and shape as the current Apple Watch 2. It can  make phone calls independently.
  The Apple Watch 3 will be available on EE in the UK, with pre-orders opening on September 15. Apple Watch will which comes in two variant (cellular and non-cellular) will be sold for $399 and $349 respectively
  It has a battery life of up to 18 hours, with 70 per cent faster processor, GPS connection and is swimproof. The device is available in gold, silver, space grey, with new sports bands, and a new ceramic grey version.

       Apple TV 4k
  Apple's smart TV box is now available in high quality. Films in 4K quality will be available on iTunes for the same price as HD movies and will upgrade current purchases to 4K HDR for no extra price. Amazon originals will also be available in the upgraded quality.
  Later it will have live sports as well. There will notifications before games and during. Live news will also be a part of the TV app. All notifications can always be turned off.

     
 IPhone 8 and 8plus 
  The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus features an all-glass body, it comes in silver, space grey and a new gold colour. The glass is reinforced with a steel and copper structure and is it tagged as  "the most durable ever in a smartphone".
  The devices has a  4.7-inch and 5.5-inch retina displays and run on an A11 bionic chip. The iPhone 8 has a 12MP rear facing camera that is more powerful and can take in 80 per cent more light than the iPhone 7. The iPhone 8 Plus comes with a dual-lens 12MP camera with similar upgrades.
  Both phones can now charge wirelessly by being placed on an inductive surface. It works with the Qi wireless standard, which Apple says it will help expand to public spaces such as airports and cafes.
  The iPhone 8 comes in 64 GB and 256 GB and will sell for $699. The 8 plus comes in the same variants and starts at $799. The devices will be available for order from September 15 and in stores from September 22. iOS 11 will be available from September 19.

       IPhone 10
  It is actually pronounced as iPhone 10 but written as "IPHONE X"
  The iPhone X is Apple's most high-end iPhone of the year. It offers a complete redesign from the current iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and was introduced along with iPhone 8 and 8 plus.
  It features a new OLED display that's more colorful than the LCD screens Apple used in earlier iPhones. Apple is branding it the "Super Retina Display." The screen runs almost top to bottom and side to side, too, something Apple has never done before.
  Apple said OLED displays come with trade-offs compared to its Retina Displays, but that its Super Retina Display supports HDR, offers the best color accuracy on the market and 3D Touch support.
  There's no more home button. You swipe up from the bottom of the screen to return home. That gesture also allows a user to multitask - swipe up and pause, and you can multitask and switch between apps. Users can call up Siri by saying "Hey Siri" or by pressing the side button.
  iOS 11 will feature, among other things, peer-to-peer Apple Pay and a redesigned Control Centre. The phone also comes equipped with wireless charging.
  The iPhone X will be available in space gray and silver. FaceID is used to unlock the device, authenticate Apple Pay and create customisable animated emoji, called animoji (there are 12 new animojis to create personal messages). The 3D front-facing camera learns what users look like and is only inaccurate one in 1 million times. It will come in 64GB and 256GB with prices starting from $999. It will ship from November 3.
